DELIVERY | COLLECTION | EXPORT | PAYMENTS

We can organise delivery throughout the UK at very competitive rates either with our own transport or via transport companies that we use on a regular bases. The turnaround time from ordering your machine to receiving it normally takes approximately seven working days. This process can be speeded up in some cases if required.

When your machine is being delivered, please ensure we have received payment at least 48 hours before the arranged delivery date.

Please call and let us know an approximate time for collection, so we can make sure your machine is ready and we can assist you with loading.

Collection can be made from our yard during our opening times as set out below :

Monday – Friday: 8.30am 5pm

Saturday & Sunday: Closed

All Export enquires are welcome, we currently export worldwide. We do not arrange export deliveries but we are more than happy to assist with loading using our loading ramp into curtain side vehicle for European exports or into a shipping container if required.

Please note to qualify for zero VAT rate you must provide us with a valid VAT number with corresponding address and Stamped CMR notes before the machine leaves our yard. We will require a bill of lading where applicable and any other relevant documents to prove the machine has left the UK for permanent export.

In most cases we will ask for the VAT total at the point of sale (currently 20% UK) once we receive the relevant documents as set out above we will refund the VAT amount. You have 30 days to produce these documents from the invoice date.

Payments

No goods will leave our yard under any circumstances unless payment is cleared and paid in full. All goods will remain the property of Barnes Plant Sales Ltd until payment is received.

Bank Transfer/Faster Payment

Direct bank transfer is our preferred method of payment, our bank details will be on your invoice.
